The Piercing experience with us!

We welcome all walk-ins, But you can always call in advance to book your spot! As you enter the store, you will be welcomed by a member of our staff who will help you in picking the perfect piece and placement for your ear, while choosing your favourite piece, you will be able to enjoy some coffee with our Kismet by Milka chocolates, all the way from Turkey

Upon entering the piercing room, your piercing will be sanitised and you will be shown the placement and the final look. The piercer will then inspect the area to make sure there are no veins or infections, you will take a deep breath, and voila! you will be pierced with Kismet by Milka. Our customer's well-being is our top priority and we ensure an aftercare leaflet is shared after the experience has ended. However, it doesn't end there - our piercer will contact you a week after to check on you, and should you have any questions, she will be more than happy to assist you.

 

Picking the piercing

The wonderful thing about piercings is that they can be placed on any part of your ear. The choice is up to you. Once you arrive at our store, our professional piercers will help guide you in selecting the appropriate location for your piercing. Our piercing specialist will pierce the preferred area, whether it be the cartilage or the earlobe.

 

 

Piercing After Care Instructions

• We recommend using a cleaning solution or tissue without additives and anti-bacterial liquid soap. Clean up to 3 times a day. Avoid using products other than those recommended. Otherwise, it may prolong the healing time.
• Wash your hands with antibacterial soap or saline water before touching or cleaning your piercing.
• After each shower during the first-week post-piercing, clean the treated area with anti-bacterial liquid soap and rinse with plenty of water.
• Fabric towels can hold bacteria, which may transfer to your piercing, therefore we recommend you clean your ear with disposable napkins.
• Avoid the sea, pool, jacuzzi, and hammam right after getting pierced. Avoid any other unhygienic water sources as well.
• Avoid all beauty and personal care products such as cosmetics, lotions, oud, bukhoor, and sprays on the pierced area.
• Do not remove the piercing unless you observe any allergic reaction in your body. If you want to change your piercing, contact your piercer.

Special Screw Back Mechanism

Our piercings are produced with a special screw-back mechanism that makes them ideal for your health and comfort. Unlike push-back earring backings, our piercings are secured with a specially produced screw mechanism. This mechanism also allows you to change your piercing combo quite easily.

Smooth Surface

Our piercings are smooth. Their surface does not contain indentations or protrusions, preventing irritation and the formation of bacteria in the ear. Another important feature that distinguishes a piercing from an earring is that the backings are in the form of a bar. This structure allows your ear lobe or cartilage to breathe comfortably against possible swelling since they fit comfortably in your ear that is still in the healing process without causing any damage. The bar system also enables you to easily remove your piercing, if necessary.

Anti-Allergic

Our piercings are all nickel-free, making them safe and anti-allergenic. Nickel, which is a substance that is frequently used in the industry, can create an allergic reaction when coming into contact with your ear or any other part of your body.

Association of Professional Piercers Approved

The Association of Professional Piercers is an institution that standardizes the production and application of piercings. APP determines working conditions that will minimize possible complications that may occur after the piercing process. Kismet by Milka is the only Turkish jewellery brand that has obtained this certificate. Our products are produced with the patented approval of the Association of Professional Piercers, resulting in a safe piercing process.

Our piercing experts undergo a 3-month training recommended by the association, following which they start working as piercing specialists in our stores.
